Session Fees
We are transparent with our fees.
We provide services at a time-based rate. We can provide services at our clinic in Coolbellup, or at home, work or schools. Payments are made on the day for those who attend the clinic. For community visits, accounts are provided following sessions and payments need to be made within 7 days. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Assessment
The cost of an initial assessment will vary depending on the area being assessed, complexity of the assessment and type of report required. Assessments are charged at a slightly higher rate than therapy, as more time is required in sourcing and reading past reports or referrals, preparation and planning, scoring of data and formation of goals. As a profession, we are required to provide a report for all assessments completed. The detail of the report will be individualised based on the assessment. Simple assessment summary reports are completed for just $70, with increasing prices for more complex reporting.
For success in therapy, it is extremely important to conduct quality assessments. You can contact the Speech Therapy clinic to be provided with a quote for the assessment required and when you book an assessment, the price of an assessment will be confirmed with you before the initial session.

Therapy
Therapy fees have been outlined below. Session can be conducted in the community, such as at school, daycare, home or work, for an additional travel fee. Telehealth session online are also available.
Our sessions are based on the therapeutic hour, where sessions include client facing time as well as planning and preparation time. To ensure you receive the best quality care and support, our therapists dedicate time to checking in with you, as well as carefully evaluating, reflecting, planning, and documenting progress for your specific needs and situation. This ensures we progress together in the next steps towards achieving our goals.

Therapy Assistant / Speech Pathology Student Sessions
We also offer the affordable option of therapy services through Therapy Assistants (TA) or Speech Pathology students. Our Therapy Assistants and Speech Pathology students are highly supported by our qualified Speech Pathologist, each receiving regular support meetings and guidance.
The fee for these therapy sessions are $92/hour, with 45 min or 60 min sessions available.
Report Writing
As a professional standard, all assessments require a report. A basic summary report can be provided for $70. More complex report assessment report writing may be required for longer, more complex assessments. Report and letter writing will be charged at $153 per hour. NDIS report writing is charged at NDIS recommended rates.
School/Daycare Screening
Available from $102 per student.
Costs for school visits and school assessment screening will be given on a case by case basis as they are influenced by age, areas screened and travel distance etc.
Payment Options
We have a HICAPS machine at the clinic to allow immediate claiming of private health funds and card payments. We also accept cash. We are registered with all the major funding bodies including Medicare, NDIS and private health providers. Clients can also choose to have a direct payment set up following each session through Medipass.

Health Rebates
Private Health Insurance
Private Speech Pathology sessions may be rebated through private ancillary health insurance. Check with your private health insurer to find out if your policy includes cover for Speech Pathology services.
Medicare Rebates
We are happy to be involved with Care Plans (CDM) plans for clients, if initiated by your GP. A CDM plan provides you with a partial rebate for 5 sessions per calendar year that are claimed through Medicare. To be eligible, your child must have a chronic condition or complex care needs as determined by your GP. These 5 sessions can be used to access speech therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and / or audiology services.
Children with autism may also be eligible for a Medicare rebate under the Helping Children With Autism funding scheme through referral from their paediatrician.
NDIS Funding
Peach Speech Pathology is a registered NDIS provider and happy to assist NDIS participants in reaching their goals. Please feel free to contact the clinic if you have any questions regarding this process. Our hourly fee is $193.99 per hour for NDIS clients. Self-managed NDIS clients will be charged a discounted rate of $185 per hour to acknowledge the financial administration tasks they complete.
